The Advertising and Communications Networking Event is a one-day recruitment program that partners employers with students and alumni to network for full-time positions in the advertising, public relations, journalism, broadcast, communications, marketing, graphic design and other advertising and communication related professional fields.

Event Details.

The Advertising and Communications Networking Event is held on LSU’s campus on March 7, 2023.

MARCH 7, 2023 SCHEDULE

9 –11:30 a.m. - Networking portion open to all students in these areas of study: Mass Communication, Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing

11:30–12:15 p.m. - Lunch for Employers only, hosted by Manship School of Mass Communications; Address given by Interim Dean Josh Grimm

12:15-3:15 p.m. - Optional interviews. Interviews are scheduled between employers and students during the networking portion of the event and are conducted at the booth of the employer in the Student Union Ballroom.

  • Cost to participate is $150.

  • This event will be held in the LSU Student Union Ballroom.

  • Boxed lunch will be provided.

  • This registration includes one 6-8 ft table, 2 chairs, wifi, parking and entry for up to 2 representatives.
